This spring break The Pura Vida Escape is providing an opportunity to see first hand why Costa Rica was recently rated the happiest country in the world, during the happiest time of the year, Spring Break!!
We are dedicated to creating "the trip of a lifetime" by exposing exclusive groups of friends not only to the main tourist attractions of some of the world's most sought after destinations, but also giving the "escapers" a true taste of Costa Rican culture and the people which are the essence of its unique beauty.
In addition to staying on a private untouched beach that is perfectly located just a short ride inbetween Jaco and Manuel Antonio, Pura Vida Escape provides on-site trained and experienced tour guides to help with your vacation needs whether it be surfing the waves a stones throw from your beach cottage to arranging parties at the countries craziest beach bars & clubs. Below is a sample of what you can expect.*
See our resort pictures here.
· You will be met by our staff at the airport and transferred to your hotel. You will enjoy the 2.5 hour scenic ride through mountainous and tropical Costa Rica where we will be stopping at “Crocodile Bridge” for an overpass view of numerous 15 foot plus crocodiles in their wild habitat.
· We will also be stopping by a Soda (typical restaurant) to get your first taste of traditional inexpensive Costa Rica styled food, along with maybe some imperial (local beer) and/or locally grown world famous coffee.
· Being that it is your first day and the day before the Billabong World Games, you can bet that the newest and trendiest roof top night club in Jaco (Le Loft - http://www.leloftcr.com/) will be going off…not to mention there is no cover and all drinks are free for Ladies (and friends of those ladies)

· Today is all about relaxation. Take today to infuse your soul with the beauty of your surroundings and allow the Costa Rican sun to kiss your skin. Take it easy on the beach or enjoy leisurely beach games with your friends.
· You will need the relaxing day for the events of the evening in the crazy party city of Jaco Beach!
· Ride north into the mountainous terrain where you will be awed by spectacular ocean cliff views before arriving at the National Park where you can be greeted by wild deer, jaguars, sloths, and monkeys that will be waiting to share any food imaginable all on some of the most beautiful beaches that you will ever embark upon
· For the brave of the heart, there will be a back breaking beach break there along with some mellower waves in the blue waters of the pacific
· We will go the #1 spot to see a sunset, where we will be sharing unique drinks out of coconuts and food at the famous Airplane Bar (where you will be in an actual airplane!!) atop of Manuel Antonio
· The sunset pregame will be the perfect preparation for the walk down the strip of cool beach bars and shops on a Saturday night

· Ride east through coconut fields to get to a private property owned by a nice old lady where you will pay 2000 colons (approx. $4) to take a 1 km hike through a field of horses and cows where you will suddenly arrive at the closest resemblance to a natural water park imaginable
· You can swim and relax in one of the refreshing three pools created by thousands of years of waterfall corrosion, or countdown in Spanish before leaping off a variety of plunges…ranging from fun couples jumps to shaky knees “I hope there’s a hospital nearby” jumps
· Being that it is Sunday and Costa Rica is a Catholic country, Sunday is perfect night to rejuvenate and have our own “taste of Costa Rica” an authentic Costa Rican dinner prepared by local ticas along with local drinks offered such as Guaro (a cane sugar based alcohol), Imperial, and maybe even some Iguana or Crocodile.

· Head to Hermosa where we will first stop at one of the regions most famous sodas for dishes such as camarones con arroz (shrimp with rice, beans, salad, and plantains) for around $4
· Now stuffed beyond belief, we will be zip lining from tree top to tree top with one of Costa Rica’s safest and biggest in it’s class zip line companies, The Chiclets Tree Canopy Tour (http://www.catravelservices.com/tours/tourdetails.php?tourID=CATT1000087). You will have a variety of breathtaking views…its your choice, look at the blue ocean of Hermosa on the horizon or look down and risk losing your camarones con arroz
· For the surfers in the group, we will stick around Hermosa to give your best shot at coming out of one of Hermosas heaving tubes while the rest relax and watch from the beach bar less than 100 yards away from the water

· We will be joining forces with Rios Tropicales (http://www.riostropicales.com/about.php) the #1 Costa Rica Adventure Outfitter and #5 Rafting company in the World (as ranked by National Geographic) to challenge the class IV and V rapids of the Pacuare River. Besides the thrills and spills, the Costa Rica tropical setting along with the wild life you will see is top of its class.
· For those of you that still have energy in the reserves, our cottages will have drinks offered and you can always take a night swim in the pool or with the illustrious glowing algae under an indescribable planetarium like view of the Milky Way and stars.

· We will be greeted by our herd of Costa Rican horses at our cottages, where will be able to take a nice trot up the mountains through creeks and jungles, and end it with a full galloping race on the beach to our cottages.
· Afterwards we will be able to give our backsides a rest by either taking a siesta on our hammocks (guaranteed the most comfortable hammock ever), playing a game of bacci ball, or receiving an amazing full body massage by our hired masseuse.
· This will probably be the last night for a lot of escapers, and what better way to end it than probably the best party of the region…ladies night at the Beach Bar (Backyard) in Hermosa where people from all over Costa Rica come to enjoy the free drinks and huge fire on the black sand beach

· Just incase your adventure wasn’t crazy enough, we are going to guarantee it by taking you BUNGEE JUMPING off the 265 foot Old Colorado River Bridge…and then take you to the airport.
**Keep in mind that all activities are optional, and anything that an ambitious traveler could want can be added. The activities that we will most likely be participating in will include, but are not limited to: horseback riding on the beach; snorkeling; Zipline Canopy/ATV/Volcano/Waterfall/Monkey, and/or Glass bottom kayak tours; surfing and volley ball, and too many others to list.
**Daily breakfast of the freshest fruit (pineapple, mango, papaya, coconut, etc.), local coffee, toast, and a variety of jellies (guava, grape, etc.) will be served every morning free of charge.
**Almost every day there are uncrowded waves ranging from surfable to epic at the beach a stones throw away, where rolling out of bed at sunrise and surfing will always be an option…
